Overview
Berlin, 1942: While Europe is sinking in the Second World War, Werner Heisenberg and the Uranium Club are investigating the atomic bomb in a secret project of the German army ordnance office. For this, they need heavy water, which is produced in a factory in occupied Norway. When the Norwegian scientist Leif Tronstad learns of this, he warns the Allies. While the Americans are planning bomb attacks, the British begin training Norwegian special forces. These shall destroy the factory from within, but the plant is strictly guarded by the German occupation troops. A bitter fight for the heavy water begins.
