"Venom 3" Gets New Title
Fans are hoping for a clash with Tom Holland's "Spider-Man"
Could this be Tom Hardy's final adventure as Venom? The new title of the action blockbuster definitely offers ample reason for speculation.
After several postponements and production breaks, it is now clear that "Venom 3" will be released in theaters on October 25. The title of the movie has now also been revealed by Variety to be "The Last Dance"!
Among fans, however, the title is a cause for concern, after all, it sounds as though the movie is a sort of conclusion. Of course, it could be that Hardy will withdraw from the Marvel universe after part 3. But it might just as well be that this is only the anti-hero's last solo appearance and that he will appear in other projects afterwards. After all, "Venom" was officially introduced into the MCU in "Spider-Man: No Way Home". A reunion with Tom Holland's version of the friendly spider thus still seems a possibility.
So far, nothing is known about the story of "Venom 3". But initial clues suggest that the symbiote Toxin could play a role, whose host is cop Mulligan, played by Stephen Graham. Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Clark Backo will also make appearances in the film.
Last year, production on the movie was temporarily halted due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. However, actress Temple revealed in an interview with Variety that filming is now almost complete. She talks about the positive experiences on set and can hardly wait to show the finished movie to the world. We are excited as well!
