Judy Warren, the ten year old daughter of the demonologist-couple Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga), stays at one night alone at home, baby-sitted by two teenagers. But as soon as the parents leave the house, the terrifying doll Annabelle comes to live.
