As with "The Incredibles" and "The Incredibles 2", he is once again responsible for the story. This time, however, Peter Sohn will direct.

A new spin-off titled "Donkey" is in the works. As the title suggests, this time the story will center on Shrek's faithful companion, Donkey. "Donkey" tells the backstory of the beloved character. The film is described as an origin story and is set to show how Donkey became the loyal companion who always stands by Shrek's side.
