Overview
A new series adaptation of the iconic and successful book series by J.K. Rowling. The roles of Harry, Ron and Hermione will be played by newcomers Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout and Arabella Stanton. Also taking part are, among others: John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid. Filming for the series began on July 14, 2025. The series is scheduled to premiere on HBO and HBO Max in 2027.
