Deadpool Star Cast as Baldur in God of War Series

The cast of the eagerly awaited "God of War" adaptation continues to grow. Amazon has now announced that "Deadpool" star Ed Skrein will be taking on the role of Baldur.

Baldur is Odin's youngest son. Despite his youthful appearance, Baldur is anything but harmless. He only accepts rules if they serve his own goals – otherwise, he uncompromisingly follows his own code. His inner turmoil stems from a childhood curse that robbed him of the ability to feel physical sensations or joy. Also confirmed are Teresa Palmer as Phoebe/Sif, Max Parker as Heimdall, Mandy Patinkin as Odin, and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson in the role of the thunder god Thor.
