Netflix is Working on a "Minecraft" Animation Series
A release next year would be possible
News from the world of small blocks: In addition to the live-action film adaptation of the popular game "Minecraft" starring superstar Jason Momoa, we can now also look forward to an animated series that is currently in the works at Netflix.
The streaming service announced this in the form of a short teaser trailer. According to initial information, the "Minecraft" series will tell an original story with completely new characters. Of course, we will also get to see all kinds of creatures from the world of the popular video game – after all, a Creeper sneaks into the first scene of the trailer.
The animated series is being developed by the renowned studio WildBrain, which recently worked with Netflix on projects such as "Sonic Prime" and "Ninjago: Dragons Rising". It is not yet known exactly when the new "Minecraft" series will be released. However, we strongly expect it to be released next year.
