More movies are being postponed: After Disney has already rescheduled several projects due to the actors' strike, Paramount is now following suit. As a result, there are new theatrical release dates for the next two years.

In addition to "Deadpool 3", "Mission: Impossible 8" also had to halt its production for an indefinite period of time due to the strike and has now been given a new release date. The new mission featuring Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Haley Atwell will now no longer be released on June 28, 2024, but most likely in Summer 2025 instead.

The horror prequel "A Quiet Place: Day One" also faces a slight delay of about 3 months and will now be screened on June 28, 2024 in the US.

Next year's "IF", directed by John Krasinski and starring Ryan Reynolds, will be moved up a week to May 17, 2024. It's about a man who can see and talk to other people's imaginary friends. The new "The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants" will not be released until the end of 2025, on December 19 to be exact.
