Technology giant Apple now with its own on-demand service

By Pierre Lorenz on

Last Tuesday the big Apple event took place, where not only the new iPhone was presented, but also details about the upcoming streaming service Apple TV+ were announced. The Netflix competitor will be launched in over 100 countries on November 1, 2019. The price is more than competitive, since the technology giant will start directly with a price of $4.99 and thus outdo Netflix by more than half.

The nearly 5 dollars should not only be the price for a single package, but also directly available for the whole family, which means a maximum of six people per Icloud account. That' s quite a challenge for Netflix and Co, however, it remains to be seen whether the catalogue of films and series will be able to keep up with the upcoming releases of the competitors. So far the selection includes the end-time series See with Jason Momoa, The Drama The Morning Show with Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Anniston, the cartoon series Snoopy in space and a series with talk show legend Oprah Winfrey. Also planned are the M

Night Shyamalan thriller series Servant, a Stephen King series and the film The Banker with Anthony Mackie and Samuel L Jackson.
