Matrix 4: "How I Met Your Mother"-Star signed for the cast
But a funny role is probably not to be expected
Who remembers when the last Matrix part came out? It's exactly 16 years since Kenau Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss joined forces to fight the machines. A lot of time has passed since then, and now they are supposed to return to Matrix 4. But of course they are also supported by other acting colleagues, one of them might surprise most of you quite a bit, because How I met your mother star Neil Patrick Harris was signed. Of course some associate him more with the Playboy, who can loosen up every round with his funny character. Whether he will also take on this funny part in Matrix, or whether his more serious side, as in Gone Girl or American Horror Story, is demanded from him, can't be said at this point yet.
More news will surely be announced in the next weeks. An official release date isn't fixed yet, but you can expect a release in 2021 or 2022.
