Diablo and Overwatch upcoming series on Netflix?

As Activision co-president Nick van Dyk announced a few days ago, there will be a video game adaptation of the popular video games Diablo and Overwatch. He himself is involved as Executive Producer, as it can be read on his Linkedin profile. Both projects, however, will not be made for the cinema but as series.

Diablo is supposed to be in anime style and is already in pre-production. The game is perfectly suited to be realized as a series.

Overwatch will also become a cartoon series, but stylistically it should be a little bit different than what Diablo has planned. Van Dyk comments that he developed and sold an animated series based on Blizzard's Overwatch franchise.

Who the series was sold to, as well as other details about the two series, are not yet known.
