It has been known for some time that Warner will soon be launching its own streaming

service. Now the name of the Netflix competitor and a first preview of the films and series

being released there have been announced.

The in-house streaming service will be called HBO MAX. So far, the cult series Friends, which

they are bringing back from Netflix into its own ranks, has been included.

In addition, they will not only be able to make use of Warner's gigantic pool, but also bring

their own productions onto the market. Among them will be an animated Gremlins series,

the Apocalypse series Station Eleven and many more.

For the launch of HBO Max, Pretty Little Liars and The Prince of Bel Air will also be featured.

At the start there will be about 10 000 hours of content available. Currently the test phase of

HBO Max is still running, but they want to officially start the streaming service in the USA at

the beginning of next year.
