New Poster Released for David Fincher's The Killer
The film is yet another collaboration between Fincher and Netflix, following "Mank" and the "Mindhunter" series
Finally: David Fincher's latest thriller "The Killer" is starting to take shape. The movie, starring Michael Fassbender, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on November 10 and now presents us with a new poster.
"The Killer" has been considered an absolute dream project of master director David Fincher since 2007 and should finally provide us with some good thriller material again. Michael Fassbender plays the titular hitman, who begins to question his actions as a result of his activities. Netflix described the film in the following way:
"A man solitary and cold, methodical and unencumbered by scruples or regrets, the killer waits in the shadows, watching for his next target. And yet the longer he waits, the more he thinks he's losing his mind, if not his cool. A brutal, bloody and stylish noir story of a professional assassin lost in a world without a moral compass, this is a case study of a man alone, armed to the teeth and slowly losing his mind."
A new poster has now been released ahead of its premiere in Venice, featuring Fassbender's character. He points a gun at the viewer while wearing a very distinctive outfit consisting of a fishing hat, an aloha shirt and a blazer. The style of the poster is reminiscent of a somber oil painting and gives us a first impression of the film's vibe.
"The Killer" will hit Netflix on November 10, 2023.
