New "John Wick" sequel series "Under the High Table" in the works
The series will bring together new and old characters
News from the world of "John Wick": Having already immersed into the past of the hotel of the same name with "The Continental", we now have a sequel series to look forward to with "John Wick: Under the High Table", which is set to follow on directly from the end of "John Wick 4".
The plot will follow a new generation of characters who are trying to make a name for themselves in the underworld around the High Table. In doing so, they get into conflict with a number of already established characters who remain loyal to the old order. According to Deadline, "John Wick: Under the High Table" will be written by Robert Levine, the co-creator of "The Old Man" with Jeff Bridges. Producers include Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski. Stahelski will also direct the pilot episode. It is not yet known where the series will ultimately be shown. The search for a possible streaming service is currently in full swing.
In any case, there is a lot going on in the world of the well-known serial killer at the moment: in addition to the new sequel series, Donnie Yen's character Caine will also be getting his own movie. We can also expect "Ballerina" with Ana de Armas in the upcoming year and a fifth "John Wick" film is also on the agenda.
