New rumour about Star Wars: Will Hayden Christensen return for the Obi-Wan series?

The Anakin Skywalker actor could be seen alongside Ewan McGregor

It has been known for quite some time that Disney+ wants to please the "Star Wars" fans with an Obi-Wan series. As the website LRM now seems to have found out from a reliable source, another "Star Wars" actor besides Ewan McGregor will return to the camera, namely Hayden Christensen. The 39-year-old hadn't appeared in the franchise since "Star Wars: Episode 3", and as they say, he's not supposed to take on a small role either, but will return as Anakin Skywalker. However, since the series will be set eight years after "Revenge of the Sith", he will probably be seen mainly in the dark Darth Vader outfit. The news about Christensen's return should have been announced at this year's "Star Wars Celebration", which won't really take place again until 2022 due to the pandemic. As LRM suspects, Disney is not expected to announce it soon, since the shooting is not supposed to start until 2021 anyway.
