The live-action adaptation of Bambi gets a story update

Update for Bambi: Alongside "Snow White," "Hercules" and "Lilo and Stich," the famous Bambi will also receive a live-action film adaptation - however, some changes to the original content will be made.
The animated classic "Bambi" is probably considered one of the most beautiful and simultaneously saddest Disney films of all time and has left its mark on generations of people. So it's not a surprise that Disney would now like to see the material realized in the form of a live-action film. In this way, a new and potentially younger audience should be captivated. The story of "Bambi" will apparently be told in a more contemporary way, in order to not have to confront the audience with the topic of death too much- said co-writer Lindsey Anderson Beer in an interview with Collider:
"Not to spoil the plot, but there's a type of handling the death of a mother that I think some kids and some parents are more sensitive about nowadays than they were in the past. [...] And I just think that to be able to bring it to life for kids, in a way that they maybe can relate to a little bit more nowadays, would be useful to the original."
What this new reboot will look like in detail remains to be seen. Besides, since the film is in an early stage of development, it is most likely that some time will elapse before we get any concrete information on the story and a potential cast. We will keep you posted!
