The 97th Oscars were awarded in Los Angeles on Sunday night. In this article, you can find out which winners took home the coveted golden statue!

The evening was dominated by the film "Anora", which won a total of five Oscars, including the awards for Best Picture and Best Director. Mikey Madison also won the award for Best Actress.

Adrien Brody received the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in "The Brutalist". Zoe Saldaña was awarded Best Supporting Actress for "Emilia Pérez", while Kieran Culkin received the award for Best Supporting Actor for "A Real Pain".

A special moment for Germany was the third Oscar win for visual effects artist Gerd Nefzer for his work on "Dune 2". Best sound also went to the science fiction epic directed by Denis Villeneuve. The Oscar for Best Animated Feature, on the other hand, went to "Flow", which beat the big favorite "The Wild Robot". The musical "Emilia Perez" (13 nominations) fell short of expectations with only two awards. "Conclave" was also only able to take home the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. "Wicked " was honored for best costume design and best production design. The best documentary feature went to "No Other Land".
