Chadwick Boseman: The Hollywood star leaves a great legacy in the film world

Completely unexpectedly the 43-year-old Chadwick Boseman died last week of a colon cancer illness which was unknown among fans. The King T'Challa actor leaves a great legacy in Hollywood, especially because of his legendary acting skills, since even in the middle of the treatment phase of his disease, the actor did not shy away from continuing to stand in front of the camera.

Boseman celebrated his breakthrough in his role as baseball legend Jackie Robinson in the film "42". However, he only achieved worldwide fame later through the role of King T'Challa in "Black Panther" and the "Avengers" films. Meanwhile, Marvel released a touching commemorative video, which not only features numerous behind-the-scenes footage, but also interviews with Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, fellow MCU members Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Marvel boss Kevin Feige. In general, the sad news caused a lot of sympathy, not only in the fan community, but especially among acting colleagues and other stars. The names range from The Rock, Jamie Foxx to ex-US President Barack Obama. The latter reminds on Twitter of a meeting with Boseman at the White House when he was playing Jackie Robinson. Terry Crews, Halle Berry, Oprah Winfrey and many other celebrities of the black community also honored his life's work. Major League Baseball also honored the actor by saying that by playing Jackie Robinson in the movie "42", he played a timeless role that will outlive future generations.
