MCU: Another postponement of "Black Widow" approaching

According to a report from Variety, Marvel's MCU movie "Black Widow" will probably be postponed again. But what exactly does that mean? On the one hand that the start date will probably be in 2021, on the other hand that Disney will probably completely give up its cinema releases this year. However, cinema-goers will probably be happy, because as the very reliable industry magazine also reports, Disney does not want to bring the film to the cinema on its own streaming service Disney+, but still in theaters. In other words: "Black Widow" is going to be a cinema release, just not in November, as previously announced.

On the one hand that the start date will probably be in 2021, on the other hand that Disney will probably completely give up its cinema releases this year. However, cinema-goers will probably be happy, because as the very reliable industry magazine also reports, Disney does not want to bring the film to the cinema on its own streaming service Disney+, but still in theaters. In other words: "Black Widow" is going to be a cinema release, just not in November, as previously announced. One of the reasons for this will be the rather mediocre start of Christopher Nolan's "Tenet" in the USA, after all, the film was considered a top-class blockbuster and therefore somewhat of a test object for the cinema market. The desired audience did not show up, so it is likely that many distributors will now be even more cautious about their cinema releases. This is also reflected in the Pixar animated film "Soul", because the planned cinema release will now, as with many other films, be released exclusively on Disney+. Whether Disney will opt for an expensive premium VOD as in "Mulan" or an inclusive offer as in "Artemis Fowl" cannot yet be predicted.

There is no exact date, but the only possible time frame is between mid-November and the end of December. Another good news from the Marvel universe is the casting of "She Hulk". As Deadline reports, "Orphan Black" actress Tatiana Maslany has found a cast for the leading role of "She Hulk". Thus the ambitious Marvel series around Bruce Banner's cousin Jennifer Walters is getting more and more into shape, which is very good news considering the not always positive news from Hollywood at the moment.
