The Black Phone 2: The Horror Thriller Gets a Sequel

The black phone rings again: Scott Derrickson's horror hit "The Black Phone" is set for a second installment.

"The Black Phone" was not only popular among fans, but is also considered one of the most profitable films of 2022 with a net revenue of 68 million dollars. It should therefore come as no surprise that a sequel is planned for June 27, 2025. Scott Derrickson will be back in the director's position for "The Black Phone 2" and will bring back a number of actors who were already featured in part 1: for example, Ethan Hawke as the mysterious Grabber, Mason Thames as Finney, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies and Miguel Mora.

What story "The Black Phone 2" will tell and how Ethan Hawke's character will return remains to be seen. We are eager to find out whether we can expect a new long-lasting horror series of the Scream brand.
