The film adaptation of one of the most successful games of all time continues to progress: "Loki" director Kate Herron is directing the "Sims" film.

Back in March of this year, the first reports were circulating that Margot Robbie and her production company LuckyChap were planning a live-action adaptation of "The Sims". They now seem to have found a capable director in Kate Herron. Herron has made a name for herself in recent years: not only did she direct the Disney+ series "Loki", but she has also directed other successful series such as "Sex Education" and "The Last of Us". According to Deadline, the production of the film is still at an early stage - accordingly, there is no release date yet. However, more information on the cast, plot and release date is expected to be coming in the following months.

After all, the world of "The Sims" is bursting with creativity, so there could be some interesting approaches. For example, a biting satire like "Barbie" or a kind of "Jumanji" in which the protagonists are drawn into another world and experience adventures. We'll definitely be keeping an eye on this project!
