Overview
Geologist Kristian is about to move to another city with his family and start a new job. On his last day of work at the Geiranger landslide early warning center, however, he has to deal with a real disaster. When the measuring instruments suddenly show conspicuous values, he suspects that the rock layers of the nearby mountain Akerneset have started to move. At first, no one believes him, but his fear soon becomes a terrible reality: huge boulders fall into the fjord and a huge wave threatens to bury the surrounding towns and villages. In the midst of the erupting panic, Kristian tries to bring his family to safety.
