Smell of Burnt Milk
Overview
It's the hottest summer on record and it's not raining. In the milking parlor, the cows are giving less and less milk, but it is no longer worth anything anyway. The farmer's daughter Katinka completes her training as a farmer, but her mother advises her to continue her education or to marry with many hectares. While the grandmother remembers nothing else but the war, the sisters swim in the river all day and Katinka presses hay bales. Farms die and right-wing thoughts grow in one of them. Tomatoes, cucumbers, llamas, fire and memories everywhere.
