Overview

Bertie (Til Schweiger) hung up his racing career some time ago and runs a car repair shop and an affiliated kart track more or less poorly. When he falls behind with the repayment of a loan and the bank threatens to foreclose on the property, Bertie comes up with a daring plan: the winner's bonus at the upcoming big 90s race on the Bilster Berg could solve his financial problems in one fell swoop. A race against time begins: he has one month to turn his old Opel into a projectile from the old Manta days. When ex-wife Uschi (Tina Ruland) suddenly enters Bertie's life, asking him to take care of their son Daniel (Tim Oliver Schultz), the month of chaos is complete.
