Overview
In 1938, Indiana Jones is hired by millionaire Walter Donovan to find the Holy Grail. From Donovan, Indiana learns that his father had also searched for the chalice of Jesus for him and disappeared during his research. Together with Marcus Brody, a friend of Indy, he sets out to find his father and the Grail.
The search takes them to Venice, where Henry Jones has been looking for clues to the resting place of the second knight who found the Grail. In the lagoon city, they also meet Dr. Elsa Schneider, an associate of Indy's father. In the library where Dr. Jones had disappeared, with the help of a diary, they find an entrance to a catacomb complex where the tomb of the second knight is located. This provides the crucial clue to the starting point of their search: Alexandretta, today's İskenderun. In addition, the archaeologist learns that his father has been kidnapped and is being held captive in Brunwald Castle in Austria.
