Overview

Monsieur Claude wants to visit all the homelands of his colorful flock of in-laws. But the Verneuils find the French countryside the most beautiful. And so Claude and Marie look forward to being grandparents in the comfort of home. But once again, they have missed the boat with their daughters. When their daughters explain to them that they will never get anywhere with these husbands in conservative France and will therefore seek their fortune abroad with their children, the faces of the upper middle-classes are suddenly very long.
