Companion Ratings & Reviews
- Drinelson7d agoI was actually so surprised. This was really good. I kind of thought it would be a fun movie but pretty bad… lol but it was good! There were funny parts too. Great storyline. I wasn’t expecting the big “reveal” and I heard that as long as you don’t watch the trailer or look up reviews, you won’t either. Great concept. Fun watch.
- vangh1February 6, 2025Yet again going in a movie completely blind pays off in a big way. I'd imagine the minor reveal at the end of the first act is completely spoiled by the trailer/promotional material and it felt like a much more enjoyable ride not knowing and discovering as the information was doled out. Thematically I think this pulls off everything it's trying to say beautifully, and it's thrilling, and it's funny. It was a shame to see only 6 of us in the theater total. I hope this does well. It deserves to do well.
- plexor_the_greatJuly 12, 2025Fun movie with an alt perspective on a do e theme. Recommended
- Modern Media HD GroupJuly 11, 2025A very compelling movie. Great cast, well-acted and an at times disturbing storyline. I wish I can get the software to make me a Companion 🫣
- Andrew CloutJuly 4, 2025OK movie. Enjoyed it as I like SciFi….probably won’t see it again but will remember it.
- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025I could tell immediately based on the online chatter when this trailer dropped that it is one to avoid. I generally avoid trailers anyways (and truly believe everyone should as well), but I was very glad I went in completely blind because this was such a surprise and a fun time at the cinema. Interestingly, I asked my kids if they wanted to go, but they will not go blindly into the theater so they watched the trailer before deciding to come along with me. It made for a fun experience because I could feel their eyes peering over at me waiting for my reaction to certain reveals. It’s not one I want to talk openly about until after it officially releases. Honestly this is the perfect kind of Monday mystery movie, which is how I watched this. It’s just such a fun ride. Go see it. Avoid the trailer, poster, letterbox logline, etc if you can. Love Sophie Thatcher and she is finding her way into some of my favorite flicks in the past couple years. Hope she keeps it up.
- Gen LockJune 30, 2025Intriguing storyline worth watching
- Peter_OctavianJune 27, 2025There's enough fun here to make you overlook or forget about the little hiccups in the esoteric subtext. Asimov probably would have been amused to see what his genius has inspired.
- Alex | Pop Culture BrainFebruary 1, 2025A delightful genre mash up with a lot to say about abuse, gender, and insecure men.
- NewFilmsAnonymousJune 24, 2025Wipe away the blood splattered tears and you'll find it has a lot more to say about the future of women than the current state of Men.
- EdwardMarch 16, 2025Great Ex Machina like premise but very little subtleness to what it did. Every character was dislikeable and Iris's character change went from 1 to 100 in a second. Had this movie been less heavy handed, it could have been more enjoyable and maybe even thought provoking but it never quite gets there. Nevertheless, it's a fun film to watch
- Motaba Movie centerMarch 14, 2025This production is easily the surprise of the year. A twisted, sometimes touching, sometimes shocking, exciting, intriguing and deadly entertaining trip that simply has to be seen. We hope we hear more from this guy named Drew Hancock!
- KylachamJune 16, 2025This was a fun thriller, with some mystery and horror elements, a bit of a Jack of all trades. The small cast was near perfect, with Sophie really displaying her talent. Very enjoyable, and I admit to having a soft spot for all things android.
- ayayronApril 6, 2025Dishonestly omits the shame and stigma behind owning a sex doll
- Mr GeeMarch 13, 2025I have to admit this is right on point. A.I is advancing rapidly, and in the next 10–15 years, this could very well be our reality. Robots are already replacing jobs in factories, and for those who are single, who needs Tinder or Badoo when you can have a sexbot? A solid all-rounder in the sci-fi genre, this film delivers on horror, gore, and violence. It's an entertaining watch for fans of futuristic thrillers definitely one to check out!
