Journalist Kacey doesn't think much of social media - and she hates dating apps. It's just a shame that she, of all people, has to write an in-depth portrait for her employer about hip influencer Ryan, who gives relationship tips to a considerable number of loyal followers and wants to promote the upcoming publication of his new book. Kacey reluctantly agrees to the assignment, even though she thinks Ryan is an annoying show-off. Then Ryan offers the young journalist a deal: He will answer all her questions and expose his innermost feelings in return for being allowed to set up a modern dating profile for Kacey. But then a juicy passage in Ryan's manuscript turns her world upside down...
