Background
The sequel is officially in development at Netflix. As with the previous films, Adam Sandler is once again working on the script. He is teaming up with his long-time creative partner Tim Herlihy. The writing duo has already produced "Kindsköpfe 2" and other Sandler films. Kyle Newacheck, who most recently directed Sandler's "Happy Gilmore 2", is taking over as director.
Various media outlets are reporting that part 3 will reunite all the main actors from the original films. These include Adam Sandler as Lenny, Kevin James as Eric, Chris Rock as Kurt and David Spade as Marcus. Rob Schneider is also expected to be back after being absent from "Kindsköpfe 2". The actresses of their respective partners are also expected to be on board. These are known to include Salma Hayek, Maria Bello and Maya Rudolph.
