Perfect for my 2 year old. The jokes are silly, the plot is simple, the pacing is good, and it has some of the best music + flying sequences I have seen, I found the movie critic in my judging it harshly at first, but on repeat watches it grew on me. I am sure I will watch it many more times with my son. I am giving it 4 stars because it's a movie I don't mind watching over and over and just appreciating the sequences that are like music videos, and the simple but sentimental plot with all the cheesiness

I really liked the film because of the hero, Dusty Crophopper. It was even all about second chances to get your mistakes mended. Dusty went through a lot in the movie. First, his gearbox was broken, so he couldn't, race anymore. He then decided to be a firefighter. Blade Ranger, a helicopter, trains him. But soon, the two of them went through a lot. From a waterfall to a mine, it was as if Blade was doing anything he can to bring him up to top speed. And later on when Dusty crashed, he fortunately survived.

This is a fantastic movie. I've watched it once by myself, then months later with my toddler. He insisted on watching it again tonight, and my husband who hadn't seen it before joined in. My husband is a pilot, and he was thrilled that they got so many aviation things right. My son insisted on watching it again after the credits started to roll. Needless to say, this movie is a hit at our house.
